Infrastructure development and Investment Plan for 146 ULBs in Karnataka
In Karnataka, out of the 219 ULBs, 71 ULBs are covered under various externally aided projects (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, etc). These results in balance 146 ULBs (excluding BBMP) not covered under any externally aided projects. The remaining towns/cities also have insufficient infrastructural services and hence KUIDFC has taken up the preparation of Infrastructure Development and Investment Plan (ID&IP) for these balance 146 ULBs in a scientific manner so that the plans are comprehensive and assess the financing requirement by the agencies including public funds.
The Infrastructure Development & Investment Plan / report will include the city profile, status of infrastructure, City Development Plan (CDP as per JNNURM / UIDSSMT guidelines) with phase-wise developments based on prioritization and repayment / borrowing capacity of the ULBs. The towns have been grouped district-wise based on geographical location and in all eight consultancy packages have been prepared.

Study of present Urban Infrastructure Scenario.
Study of growth potential and proposed development strategy.
Study of present financial status of ULBs.
Identification of PSP / PPP projects.
Preparation of a Financial Operative Plan.
